Customer experience: Customers in the affected deployments may have faced delays in resuming, or been unable to resume, virtual warehouses. Customers may also have faced delays in using Snowpark Container Services.

Preliminary root cause: An internal change intended to optimize system efficiency had an unintended consequence that resulted in a temporary inability to provision service infrastructure. This resulted in performance degradation when attempting to use virtual warehouses and Snowpark Container Services.

A root cause analysis (RCA) document will be published within seven business days.
